On Harold Camping's Open Forum dated June 14, 2006, he states that the mark of the beast is spiritual, not physical. Could Harold be wrong? Has he added to scripture? Could Mr. Camping be a part of the apostasy he warns about? (by leaving the authority of the Bible through allegory)
Listen DownloadIf Hell is really forever and man's sins will never be fully paid for, how can "justice delayed is justice denied" be perfect justice? You said that God won't pour out His wrath to the full extent on those in Hell like He did to the Lord Jesus on the cross, because they wouldn't be able to take the punishment all at once, but isn't not pouring out the full extent of God's wrath showing mercy on some level? Are you saying that if God did pour out the full extent of His wrath on those in Hell, their spirits would cease to exist and that's why God doesn't pour out His wrath to the full extent? On the other hand, is eternally drawing out the pain and suffering for those in hell, God's method of ensuring that people suffer for as long as possible for their sins rather than giving them the merciful way out through them spiritually ceasing to exist at some point down the corrodoor of eternity? And lastly, how can payment for sins never end for those in Hell if the payment! ended for the Lord Jesus? Forever doesn't have an end, does it? I don't know if i'm saved, but i've had lots of thoughts like these and while i know it's not good to think like this, i find myself falling into this kind of thinking at some point when i think about God. Any answer would be appreciated. Thanks.
Listen DownloadHave you ever done a study on music? because i've been looking at some study's that say we are to only sing the psalms they say What does God command us to use for teaching, is it the words of men, poems composed by carnal men, or is it the Word of God? 2Tim.3:16, they say Speaking to yourselves." is another way of saying "teaching" or "admonishing" in Eph 5:19 and these verses 1Cr 14:26,Psa 95:2,1Ch 16:9,James 5:13 which say to sing the psalms can you please explain these verses and will you consider doing a study on music and how we should worship. thank you

Listen DownloadWhere I work not even one person is interested in the true Gospel. When I talk about the Bible or share a Does God Love You tract I am either ignored or people get offended and say what I believe is my own business and at home. My co-workers have a very negative attitude toward the true Gospel and many of them don't want to hear anything that has to do with God. Many of them think that I am crazy because I listen to a Christian radio station. Whenever I am around my co-workers I feel sorry for them as they are on the way to Hell. I do pray for them and ask the Lord to have mercy upon them. I guess this is the only thing I can do. Did I do the right thing by giving up on sharing the Gospel with them?
Listen DownloadJames 1:18 Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of FIRSTFRUITS of his creatures. Who are these firstfruits if in Rev 14:4, the 144000 are firstfruits (elect from churge age)unto God and to Christ? Isn't James addressing his epistle to all believers? I do believe that God has His elect even in Great Tribulation.

Listen DownloadI am totally convinced from God's Word that Family Planning is rebellion against God's command to be fruitful and multiply. Since God is sovereign, He is the One Who gives life and it is not just the biological union between man and woman. I've been guilty of this sin of which I have repented. My wife has gone in for surgery with my consent to prevent further children about six years back when we were unbelievers. We have two children born both through ceasarian section. Now I am a true believer but my wife is still not convinced that what we have done is wrong. I want to obey God. What should I do in this case?

Listen DownloadPlease post - a question on the Sunday Sabbath; in Isaiah 58:13 we read these words ".nor speaking thine own words." I find it very difficult to talk to relatives or family members on Sunday about the Bible because they rather talk about the weather (that is anything but religion). I read in Matthew 10:12-14 how God tells us if we are rejected to walk away, but in one why I feel bad that I must ignore them but on the other hand I wonder why I am there knowing they will not talk Bible. So my real question is, what can a Christian talk about on Sunday if no one wants to talk about the Bible? I ask this because Christmas falls on a Sunday this year on one hand I like to stay home because of the big dinners and drinking that is on that day but on the other hand I should go for they are family. Secondly, would it be right to totally ignore your spouse on Sunday if they do not what to talk about the Bible?

Listen Download2 Peter 3:10-But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Are "the last day" and "the day of the Lord" the same day? Harold Camping teaches that Christ has already returned "as a thief in the night" utilizing this verse as support. Please explain how this verse supports the teaching that Christ has already returned WITHOUT the heavens passing away, a great noise, the melting of the elements, or the burning of the earth. I'm not sure if EBF teaches the same concerning this verse, but I would greatly appreciate your interpretation of this it. Thank you and may the Lord bless and keep you.

Listen DownloadMany of my relatives are Christians still attending churches. They do not believe in the end of the Church Age. First of all I am a recent listener of Family Radio. They look down upon me as a recent learner of the Bible as opposed to their 20 or 30 years in their faith and congregations. How do you handle this. Especially that they speak Spanish and don't hear family radio in Spanish much less go on line on the Family Radio Spanish Web Page?
Listen DownloadI have been praying for salvation for 3 years now and I don't believe I am saved. I have some interest in reading the Bible and obeying God, but my interest wax and wane from day to day. I pray earnestly for delight in God's word and for obedience. My question is why does God make someone wait for salvation and why does't he strengthen someone to be obedient when they are praying for obedience.

Listen DownloadPlease post my question – My question is concerning living with an unbeliever. There are many sermons on how to live before God as a Christian yet I have not found one sermon or teaching in understanding how to live with an unbelieving spouse. Believe me if I was married to a believing wife and we had total agreement in scripture as the Bible alone this would be my life before God NO TV rather read the Bible, NO secular music rather God glorifying music, not to mention study time and supporting ministries like Family Radio and people like yourselves to further the Gospel around the world. Be it as it may I am married till death do us part (1st Corinthians 7:11), see I live with an unbeliever my wife who I respect in all her ways until it comes to the issues that are against the commandments of God, but do I, this is my confusion. I sometimes wonder if I should do the following but then that would be isolating me from my wife. For example, watching TV is her past time yet I rather be reading the Bible she wants me to be with her during her past time if I would go to another room she would follow me rip the Bible from my hands and do her best to have me stay with her so she wins! And I end up with her at the TV, we find a program we both enjoy but still I rather be reading. Here is another example, on Sunday I would love to worship God all day in His word and prayer and study but she will not allow it. Even though I refuse to do any actives on Sunday she will remain home with me and stop me from the worship of God all day but for 1½ hours she dose permit by God’s grace. So what do we do? Will we talk, not about God she does not wish to hear it rather secular topics. Believe me Sunday has become our darkest day as wife and husband. (What can a Christian do?) My last example is giving to a ministry long ago we both agreed to have full agreement on how we would spend our money and where it would go. Some time ago I mentioned I like to support Family Radio of course she did not agree. So should I give without her knowledge would that not make me untrustworthy? Yet I feel like it is my duty to give something not because I benefit but others can benefit. So I ask you to post my question on this important issue because a true Christian living with a believer my be easy because both are in agreement but one living with a unsaved love one is very difficult but not only difficult but even harder when there is no advice. By the why it is only by the grace of God that I have been given 1½ hours each day to study and read God’s word but early this is (3:30 am) my wife’s biggest complaint to me is I tend to full asleep watching TV with her at 8:00 PM. I love the Lord and it is my hearts desire to read His word and study yet my wife is now talking about removing that time from me because I am falling a sleeping on her time. If she gets her way I will no longer be in God’s word . (What does a Christian do?) Can you please respond Thank you? God bless you for your ministry maybe one day I will receive the opportunity to visit you when the wife permits it.

Listen DownloadHello Chris! I am an ex full time Pastor from a Charasmatic church in Mumbai and I came out of the apostate church in Dec 2002 which caused great unrest among the other pastors and the congregation and Now am working to earn my living and we had formed a reformed church in my house but when I read Harold Campings teaching on Depart out I was convicned that the church age is over and we are in the great tribulation, but however I am not convinced that there is a huge multitude being saved, must be in USA but where I live in Mumbai I have searched everywhere and have questioned family radio to find a fellowship(a brother or bible study group) here in Mumbai but I have found none.I don't see anyone saved here, even the people who departed out with me from apostasy have left having loved the present world and also in a reformed website www.mountainretreat.org I came accross many reformed people in the message forum who still believe church will continue till the end,What I see is opposite of what you are saying that many people are being saved, also I don't agree with Mr.Camping and you giving date setting that 2011 is the year Christ will return,Can you pls explain from Scriptures how do you come to such a conclusion and if Christ doesnt return in 2011 you and MR.Camping will be the cause of downfall of many, please don't give date settings, but yes do preach that the church age is ended and that we are in the Great Tribulation and depart out. Listen DownloadI have a difficult time sharing the gospel with others. I fear revilings. I am afraid of being reviled when I am talking with family and friends while they are drinking and laughing about sinful things. I want to live a godly life, but I dislike being persecuted. Do I need to grow in grace and be strenghten to rejoice in persecution or could it be I am not saved since I back down when faced with sinful situations? I know we are to suffer as Christ suffered, but I do not see God's work of grace in my life to stand for righteousness.

Listen DownloadPlease past my question - I have a question concerning the Sunday Sabbath were we read in Isaiah 58:13-14 how we are to honor God on His Holy day. I have been married over 25 years an in the last 2 years I have had an increasing desire to do the will of God, but the problem is I live with a wife who is not interested in the Bible. On Sunday I have a desire to fellowship with God all day yet my wife wishes to do that of what the world desires (shopping, TV, play rock music, go to the movies…). At one point I tried to speak to her about my feels concerning Sunday but she refuses to hear, I was the same way in the past so I just let it go (Matthew 7:6). During the past 2 years I always tagged along with my wife doing that which was not my desire but her desire go to a movie, shopping, or out to eat, but lately I have a desire to do it God’s why but I do not know how? On one hand, I feel that I should go into a room shut the door and spend all day with God, but on the other hand I love my wife and have feelings that I should just ride it out until God has found grace to save her if that is His will. But my question is should I just go to the movies, shopping, out to eat on the Lords day with my wife, or should I be tough and hold my position and how do I love my wife being what she sees as selfish if I am to hold my position (Eph 5:28)? My next question my wife wants me to go to a Baptism that is for her sister’s daughter’s baby (they are Catholic), I know that this is totally wrong and in my heart I do not what to go. But I also know what the outcome will be if I refuse. Am I being too hard on my wife, or am I reading too much into these verses (Matthew 6:24; Exodus 27:24; Deut. 8:19; 11:16; 12:30)?

Listen DownloadIs the Church dead? Matthew 16:18 Jesus said "I will build my Church and the gates of Hades will NOT overpower it. This verse clearly shows that Satan is not ruling the Church today nor ever will as you falsly proclaim. Your use of Matthew 24:15 to say if I go to church on sunday am I worshipping God or Satan shows your lack of knowledge of the scriptures. Jesus is answering the first of the two questions asked by the disciples in MATTHEW 24:3. Jesus is talking about the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD. This is just one example of your ignorance of the Bible that you continually misquote in your tract Is the Church Dead? The Church is not dead it is the Body of Christ Ephesians 1:22&23. Eph. 4:4 says there is only one Body. Eph. 5:25 Jesus loved the Church and gave Himself up for Her. Jesus was sacrificed for the Church and in Acts 2 the prophcies of the Old Testament predicting the coming of the Kingdom of God were fullfilled when the 12 Apostles received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and proclaimed that this is that that was spoken of by the Prophet Joel. The Church is very much alive and will prevail untill Jesus returns for Her. The only thing that is dead is your teachings that the Church is dead. Just as Peter preached on the Day of Pentacost it is not to late for you to "Repent and be baptized for the forgiveness of your sins and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:38 and to continue in the Apostles teaching, to fellowship,to the breaking of bread, and prayers. Acts 2:42.
Listen DownloadI want to make a comment about this "new" idea that the two witnesses were the "true believers" in the "Church Age" and not the corporate c f course, this position is a modification of Mr. Camping's previous, long held position that the two witnesses were indeed the corporate church. With his current teaching that the corporate church is dead Mr. Camping has had to modify this teaching as well primarily because in verses 11 – 12 of Revelation 11 the two witnesses are resurrected and ascend up to Heaven to be with God. How can the church be dead on the one hand and be resurrected by God on the other hand, if he has finished with it? So, in order to fit the EOCA construct, this teaching has had to be modified also. It will be shown, however, that this is an untenable conclusion. First, in Rev. 1 we see Jesus walking in the midst of the candlesticks as the ruler of his church. In verse, 20 of chapter 1 HE tells us who these candlesticks are. He says, “The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches’. Here we see definitively that the candlestick refers to the corporate church. Later, he threatens to remove the candlesticks of persistently unfaithful churches, effectively ending their witness as viable churches of God. So, when we come to Revelation chapter 11 he continues the thought. First, he talks about their witness and power being that of Moses and Elijah or the Law and the Prophets. In other words, they come with the power of the Word of God. By comparing verse 3 of Rev. 11 with Acts 1:8 with get further confirmation that the two witnesses are the New Testament Church. Rev. 11:3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. Acts. 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Notice the similarity of the language. The clincher, of course, is the next verse in Revelation 11where he says, Rev. 11:4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. Therefore, the two witnesses are the two candlesticks, and the candlestick is the church. Case Closed, sent to the jury! Therefore, if the church is killed, it’s also to be resurrected to be with God. In conclusion, it has been proved that to say that the two witnesses are only the believers in the NT church would require them to loose their salvation by having their candlestick removed (Rev. 2 –3) at various times in history. We know that cannot happen, so the witnesses of Rev. 11 must refer to the corporate body, the church. Sadly, this is another instance of a chink in the amour of the EOCA doctrine. Mr. Camping’s interpretation on this is not a matter of tying verses together. Rather, it is twisting verses to make them agree to a previously arrived at conclusion. This is not a reading out of scripture, it’s a reading into scripture what you want to see.
Listen DownloadWhich year according to God's Word will be end? I heard of a book called "Time Has An End" by Mr. Harold Camping where he has dated 2011. How can one give a specific year when Christ has told his disciples that no one except the Father knows the end. Please explain.
Listen Downloadyour theology is from the prince of darkness-Satan. and you have a right to fool those who deny the throth from the Bible .Satan when he was tempting Jesus in the wilderness, used the Bible(Ps)out of the context, you do the same way. God will give you your salary very soon! One soducer named [Zasek]in Europa has the same theology you do. Only his family is a "true church" ,"leave the church, join his teaching" Just wait on the Lord and He will judge you, unless you repent, and put all trust in Jesus who is the only thruth ,the life and the way to the Heavenly Father. You may not answer to me I'm just warning you!
Listen DownloadYou people are seriously misinterpreting God's Word. Of course some churches are spiritually dead, but that doesn't mean that ALL organized churches (as described in the New Testament) are that way. God's plan for the church is the same today as it was when His Son established it. Woe be to those who attempt to go against the will of God. You will not win in the end.
Listen DownloadThe real issue is whether God has abandoned the concept of a visible organized body called "the Church" on the earth today. This is a serious question. We don't debate that there will be apostasy in the church near the end of time. Nor do we debate that there is a measure of sin and apostasy in those churches previously thought to be faithful to the Word of God, today, i.e. PCA, OPC, RBC of Alameda, etc. (see also the seven churches in the book of Revelation). There are a number of verses that point to an end-time apostasy or falling away in the church near the end of time. Rather, Mr. Camping states that he sees the entire dissolution of the corporate body, the church regardless of their affinity or faithfulness to the Word of God (see Rev. 2: 18 - 24 for the true Biblical principle). Therefore, he has called (because he believes God is calling) for all "true believers" to leave the visible organized body. In keeping with this doctrine he goes to great lengths to circumvent or reinterpret those scriptures which clearly teach: 1). The ordinance of the Lord's Supper in the Church till the Lord returns 1 Cor. 7:21 2). The ordinance of Baptism as part of the Great Commission (which commission by the way was given to the Church as represented by the Apostles) Matt. 28 (Incidentally, Mr. Camping creates a false dichotomy by stating that the spiritual element of baptism continues while the outward sign has ended). 3). Pastors ruling in the church till the end of time Eph. 4: 11 - 13 And other scriptures which presuppose some form of body on the earth when Christ returns. Rather than encourage the formation of new churches which are more faithful to the Word of God, Mr. Camping has declared the end to the visible church. We see this in the case of Mr. McCann where he had previously formed a church to the end just mentioned only to dismantle it after Mr. Camping's declaration. The real questions therefore for us today are twofold. First, has God granted to a man today outside of the Lord Jesus Christ himself and the Apostles to make such an astounding declaration? Specifically, has God invested a man today on the earth with the Divine Authority (or temerity) to declare that at such and such a time in history (presumably 9/6/1994) the visible church of Jesus Christ ended on the earth? Do we dare follow such a teaching in the light of the clear verses outlined above or do we instead follow a theology strung together by a multitude of verses and flavored with a boat load of human interpretation, and extrapolated out to the conclusion stated above. Secondly, has God not always had a remnant and is not a remnant church assumed (see points 1., 2., & 3., outline above) throughout the New Testament until Christ returns? To me, those are the real questions.

Listen DownloadI was given the tract "Is The Church Dead" one Sunday on the street in Philadelphia, PA.,USA. After reading it carefully three times, I believe your message is not biblically sound. Indeed, the place where most Christians choose to meet for worship is called the church, but it is only a building. The Church is actually made up of the body of Christ, and if it is truly Christ centered, as is the church I attend, it is far from being dead! In fact, the word for church comes from the Greek word ecclesia, which literally translated means "called out ones". I feel that what you are teaching here is apostasy, and you have used isogesis (adding TO the message of scripture) rather than exogesis (deriving the meaning FROM the message of scripture). And as for your depiction of the salvation experience, my Bible says that ANYONE who repents and calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved, and that forgiveness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ alone. God's grace declares all belivers righteous through faith in Jesus Christ, the moment we confess our sins and accept Christ as our personal Savior.
Listen DownloadHi Chris. I read on your site that your team just came back from London, and I suspect that it is because of them that I have gotten a tract"Is the church dead". Well, for them I praise God, That someone can be so loyal towards a cause. They will be used mightily in the Kingdom!! Now Chris, about this tract that you are distributing accross...well, everywhere. I do not agree with most of it that you guys have put in there. I am a christian and have been one for about 10 years. During these 10 years I have been to several churches and conferences, and I have always made it very clear, I do not follow doctrine, I follow Word. If God said it, I believe it and that settles it. Simple. So needless to say, that the minute I got your tract, I compared it to the Word of God, the Bible. And it does not measure up. So, to be specific : Q. So I have to accept Christ? And then will I be saved? A. Unfortunately, many churches teach this but the Bible says that no man can accept Christ because all men are spiritually dead. "and you hath he quickened, who were dead to trespasses and sins;" Eph 2:1 Now the scripture is correct, just out of context. The WHOLE scripture goes like this :"In the past you were spiritually dead because of your sins and the things you did against God. Yes, in the past you lived the way the world lives, following the ruler of the evil powers that are above the earth. That same spirit is now working in those who refuse to obey God. In the past all of us lived like them, trying to please our sinful selves and doing all the things our bodies and minds wanted. We should have suffered God's anger because of the way we were. We were the same as all other people. But God's mercy is great, and he loved us very much. though we were spiritually dead because of the things we did against God, He gave us new life with Christ. You have been saved by God's grace." Now just this scripture goes against almost all of the second half of your tract. I can do something to be saved..in fact, just by reading this scripture, I am already saved!! Praise God!!! I do not deserve His grace, but that is why Christ died for us on the Cross, so that we might not be subject to the law of this world, but to live by grace!!! Another scripture says this :"This is what scripture says:'The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart.' That is the teaching of faith we are telling. If you use your mouth to say,'Jesus is Lord,' and if you believe in your heart that God raised Jesus form the dead, you will be saved." Isn't that AWESOME...you WILL be saved. So, that seems to me like the formula for salvation? Chris, you also refer alot to the scripture in Revelation, and with this I would like to chat with you some more, if you'll allow it. Alot of it is about the end times, and although I do believe that the end times are near, I do not believe we are in the end times. Reason? Well, in the end times you will not be able to buy or sell without the mark of the beast on your right forehand or on your forehead. I do not have these marks of the beast, yet I can still buy and sell. so, I would like to discuss this with you. Thank you so much for the time you spend on this! Kindest Regards
Listen DownloadI received your tract "is the church dead" over the 4th of July weekend in Philadelphia. It seems that your faith overlooks one very important message in the bible. In John 3:16, Jesus himself states, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM shall not perish but have eternal life." Please explain you faith in this context. Thanks! With love in Jesus.
Listen DownloadCan you please help me understand how someone should repent from a given sin. I understand repentance is to turn away or refrain from something. What is the difference if any between the repentance of a believer and a non-believer? I'm sure a believer is getting assistance from the Lord while he repents yet some non-believers do conquer besetting sins in their lives. Are they also being blessed by the Lord or are they tackling their sins on their own. I'm a new Christian and I'm looking for understanding on the subject. Thank you!
Listen DownloadDoes God blind people after a certain amount of time if they read the Bible but they do not become saved. I have read the Bible for about a year and listenened to family radio. but i always turn around again to my sin. I was reading in Jude about what God has to say about people who call themselves believers and are not, it is very scary. Is it possible that I am blinded becuase I have not become saved even though I am reading the Bible
Listen DownloadCan you explain John 19:31 The Jews therefore, because it was (5713) the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, * (for that sabbath day was an high day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away. What is this "high day"? I have read that it was not the weekly sabbath but an annual one which puts the crucifixion of Jesus on Wednesday, not Friday! And I have been taught that Saturday is the legitimate sabbath, not Sunday, the day that the Catholic religion has openly admitted to to changing it to! Anxious for your response!
Listen DownloadDear Mr McCann, Do people die before their time? Ecclesiastes 7:17 seems to suggest that as well as Psalms 55:23; 102:23. In Psalm 139:16 the word "members" is translated "days" in my french bible and that would convey the idea that God knows all of our days. Isaiah 46:10 also declares that God knows the end from the beginning. What do you think?
Listen DownloadHow many years is the tribulation time we are now in and when did it begin?
Listen DownloadHi, What about churches that currently do not have overseers like pastors to sheperd the flock? They members still consider themselves as the traditional church, but does God still view churches that don't have pastors as churches and are they still under God's judgement? And what about fellowships that have teachers who claim they are acting as churches yet they are not ordained ministers rather faithful teachers? Does God view these fellowships as churches under his judgement?
Listen Downloadthe bible tells everyone to go as far as the world to preach the gosple, and i pray to God to richly bless you for taking the trouble on yourself to educate the world about the true gosple. To tell the truth,i heard about ebible today when brousing.i've always been looking forward to meet a christian brother or sister to help me grow in the word of God and am really impressed. (QUESTIONS) (1)How many times does a person need to be baptised and in whose name. (2)What is the difference between being baptised in jesus name and also in the name of THE FATHER,THE SON and THE HOLY GHOST. (3)Is walking in his newness of life the only way to determine a good christian. NOTE:Please i really need your assistance to help lead a holy life. Not that im not a christian but theres this thing that was bothering me and had lived with me for long.i am with a bible believing church and had dedicated fuuly to thye interest of the church but had a serious girlfriend and were plannig marriage,i was into that relationship in order to be able to withstand the temptation of falling into fornication but due to financial difficulties hadnot been in the position to marry the woman but still living with her and this is draining me since my breaking the relationship will seem like dissapointing the woman since she had lost both parents and me the only survival, brother, sister and a parent at the same time to her.i know to that the bible is against it .Please i need your advise and help to come out of this mess.GOD RICHLY BLESS YOU.
Listen DownloadHow can one get rid of dirty(sexual) thoughts.I had been involved with immorality so much that after knowing the truth of the bible i still get tempted to do the same.I think i am not saved as i get such wicked thoughts in me and i consider it is real wickedness. Please tell me what to do?
Listen DownloadDo you know of any other group independent of Family Radio that has arrived at the end of the church age understanding from the Bible alone?

Listen DownloadHow come you don't respond to my question regarding the following verse: Ephesians 4:13 (King James Version) 11And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: While the office of apostle, men who had seen the Lord and done miracles has ceased, nevetheless the function of being "sent" on behalf of Christ and the gospel continues on. Likewise, all believers are prophets or forth-tellers of the word of God. Some believers are called to be evangelists, pastors and/or teachers and according to Ephesians 4:13, these offices are to continue until the end of time. So, once again, my question is, "How do these verses impinge on the Latter Rain teaching which declares an end to the office of pastor".
Listen DownloadPlease post my question and your response this time, otherwise you not giving those who visit your site a fair view. When we study the word of God it is important that we read in terms of the full context. Rejoice because there is hope of salvation through Jesus Christ. The bible says that if we truly believe in Jesus, there is no question about our salvation. You use John 6:44 to show that man cannot be saved by faith, however, if you continue reading you will see that John 6:47 offers a little more hope, "I tell you the truth, he who believes has EVERLATING LIFE." Also you represent Romans 3:11 as saying that man cannot be saved by faith, but Paul is explaining our need for a savior because man cannot save himself. God provided a savior for us! Look forward a few verses in Romans 3:21-22 "But no righteousness from God, apart from law, has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. This righteouness from God comes through fatih in Jesus Christ to all who believe." One more reason to trust in Jesus for your salvation, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." Please stop supporting satan. Use your resources to advance the kindgom of God! With Love in Christ
Listen DownloadHi, When I read Revelatoin 18, I can understand how one can arrive at the conclusion that God wants us to depart from spiritual Babylon (the churches). While on the one hand I can see how that can mean that the true believers must come out of "her", but WHEN?? is the big question. I can't help but think that Revelation 18 applies to the time of the rapture when the last trump is sounded and Christ descends and calls all of his children to come out of her (the churches). In Jeremiah 40-46, couldn't the remnant who remained in Judah and Jerusalem be those of today who disobey God by coming out of the churches and spiritually going into the land of Egypt a picture of the world...? so in this way those today who have departed from the churches and fleeing "babylon" where they should remain, but are going into Egypt? I want to be obedient to God's will, but I am having a difficult time computing Jeremiah 40-46, the remnant who were supposed to remained yet departed and died in Egypt. Also, in Matthew 24, where it says that pray that your flight not be in winter or on the sabboth, couldn't that mean that since we are in a time of winter now, God is warning us to remain in the churches and to not flee? We should wait on the Lord to take us out when the call is made on the last day?
Listen DownloadI just started to listen. I heard about this web site on Family Radio. Would you tell me a little bit about yourself? What is your name, what is your background and how did you come to have this wisdom of the true gospel and the end of the Church age? I thank God for you and Family Radio.

Listen DownloadI have been using Rogain in my hair for the last 8 years to recover what hair I had lost in previous years and to arrest future hair loss. Recently I had become very concerned that this might be a vain thing to do. I always want to do Gods will, if this is indeed a vain act I want to stop, however I do not do it at all to become pleasing to anyone else but my wife, our marriage is not the greatest I believe my wife is not saved either. I guess the problem is I am sure that I will become pretty funny looking (with no hair) and this might drive something more between my wife and I, but then I also always must consider Gods will in other words I am not sure this is not a test for both of us I certainly want to be obedient to God always. When I search the Bible for answers I do not come up with anything concrete, I know God looks at the heart for vanity and I am so confused. Please help me find an answer to this thing that I wonder about every day.
Listen DownloadI wanna say thank God for your ministry and other ministries that are faithful to the Bible. I have a question about a certain situation I'm in. My girlfriend and I have known each other for about 10 years and have been together over 2 and a half years. We are not living a sinful lifestyle like living with each other or anything of that nature. Before my eyes were opened to the DOT, her and I would attend church weekly. She still goes and doesn't see the judgement upon the local congregations. We know we are not to be unequally yoked. Her and I know both know we cannot and will not marry unless were are to be on the same page on religous point of views. What can possibly do??? Would we be in rebellion in staying together and just wait upon the Lord to see what happens? Or would the best thing to do is just break off our relationship and then see what the Lord's will is? I would appreciate it if you can explain and go in depth on this type of situation many young couples are going through. May God continue to truely and richly bless EBIBLEFELLOWSHIP.
Listen DownloadCan we lose our salvation? I am referencing Hebrews 6:5-8, 2 Peter 2:20, 3:17 and the whole book of Jude. I happened to walk by someone who was handing out pamphlets about leaving the church and after a little listening and reading, I feel that it is time for us to go. But before this, I went to a church that said you could lose your salvation and then I went to a church that said you couldn't and now I am confused. It seems to me that they both cannot be right. You seem to be a man of God so I feel that your answer would be qualified. Thank you very much and sorry for making this so long.

2. In these end times is it wrong for a widow to want to get married????? By Gods grace I understand the Bible very well. So I know the verses that say, I Corinthians 7:26 & I Corinthinans 7:32, I Corinthians 7:38, & I Corinthians 7:40. I am a widow, of 3 years, I have been alone for the last, almost 10 years. I am not looking for someone to take care of me. God does a very very good job of this. I care very much for a man, but he seems to think it is wrong to even think of having a relationship with any one other than God in these end times. But, how do I reconcile the verses above with all the other verses in the Bible that show that a woman was made for a man? Genesis 2:18 - 25 for a starter. Yes, I do understand the verses about fleshly lust, such as, Ephesians 2:3 & Ephesians 5:16, How do I reconcile this with Genesis 2:18-25 & Ephesians 5:21 - 33, and many other verses in the Bible that seem to tell us to be married? Is it fleshly lust to want this type of relationship? Is it wrong to want this type of relationship????? I am in so much pain in my heart, I just do not seem to be able to explain to my friend, that if we are free in God than are we not free indeed????? Even if we were to be married?
Listen DownloadThe nature of the final tribulation is clear to me from the Bible, and I am in agreement with the understanding that we are to depart out "when ye therefore shall see..."
My question is: how do I know that the degree to which I see unfaithfulness in the church is the degree to which God is referring when he says Satan will be ruling in the church? In other words, and I am especially concerned becuase to answer this question we are forced to look outside of the Bible -- i.e. at events occurring in the church -- how do we know now is the time and that it won't, for instance, be worse and truly the time, say, 100 years from now?
Listen DownloadFrom what I have studied the DOT seems to be a little off, that the verses in Revelation among other verses found throughout are pointing at the Catholic church, not all churches. Who but the pope is equal to God? The pastors I have met admit to be sinners just like anyone else. Camping was wrong about 1994, wouldn't a prophet of God be right in all of his teachings?
Listen DownloadI need to help a family member--where in the Bible can I find the verse--God hates divorce?
I have seen the apostasy in the churches and no longer attend a local congregation. I wonder how I will attend any family funeral because of our 'Depart Out' stand. I know the funeral for my mother will be held in a church...she has it already arranged. How am I to be a part of this ceremony?
Thank you for answering these concerns of mine.
Listen DownloadWhen in prayer, I'm asking God to lead me in my understanding of coming out of the church. How do I know where God is leading me? I'm a newer Christian and I'm fearful that I will be making a decision on what I'm hearing rather than where God is leading me. I'm not sure in the way God leads Christians. And also, how do we know we're in the tribulation?
Listen DownloadDear brethren in Christ,
Calvary greeting to you in the name of Jesus Christ. I will like you to give me this question. Question: 500 reasons why Jesus is Lord. Please I want you to send it to me before Saturday, 7/3/2004.
Listen DownloadHi, I am so blessed by the word of God these days and so happy to have found your website. We live in an area where we do not currently have fellowship. Ministries like yours and Family Radio - via the internet - are all we have to help sustain us during this time ( of course God showing us everyday his magnificent word helps the most!) . I have so many questions, because nearly everytime I read I find something I want to know more about. I especially keep finding more things that seem to be about the true believers, and the End of the Church Age. Please understand I am so excited every time I find something new to support these teachings. It is always possible I could be mistaken. So I just want your wisdom and guidance.
So, I will ask one question at this time: please can you tell me in Joshua 3:3, is this a picture of the true believers leaving the church? Israel was commaned to follow the priests as they are carrying the ark of the covenent. It tells them "to go after it". As we read on in Joshua from there, we find that they are crossing the Jordan as God holds the waters back, and then tells them to find 12 stones to be a sign and remember that God held the waters back for them to cross the Jordan - Joshua Chapter 4:6. Here the words are "so this shall be a sign". Then the words, " the waters were cut off" (vs 7) appear as well. I just find that amazing. Please help me to understand this better...
Many Thanks and God Bless
Listen DownloadJeremiah 7:2 Stand in the gate of the LORD’S house, and proclaim there this word, and say, Hear the word of the LORD, all ye of Judah, that enter in at these gates to worship the LORD. When God speaks of the Lord's house in the Bible, does this mean the churches and congregations? This doesn't mean to proclaim the Bible in the churches and congregations does it?
Listen DownloadMy question: what advice would you give a 26 years old woman, who has never dated but has been praying to meet a God fearing Chrsitian young man, since 18? Sometimes when she goes out in the public it bothers her when she sees couples together. God created Eve because Adam was feeling lonely. (she has no friends except for Jesus) My question: where would you be able to find a God fearing man and how?
Listen DownloadIs salvation a great miracle that is performed by Christ from heaven?
Listen DownloadIf we are in the "tribulation", and the tribulaton only lasts 7 years, is it safe to assume that the world will end in less than 7 years?
Listen DownloadI know where it says that "holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost." 2Pe 1:21, but where does the Bible claim that Inspiration extends to (and Special Revelation is present in, consists in) the INCIDENCE of words? It could be similarly claimed that Special Revelation is placed by God in the stars -- encoded in the position, brightness, movement, etc. of the stars. And that one skilled in decoding these intelligences can receive Divine Revelation by applying a certain method of "reading" the stars. But that would be without Biblical validation, but similarly where is the Biblical validation for the "method" of study that mechanically uses the Strong's numbers? In this case, Strong's becomes a kind of decoder, an Extra Revealer -- giving access to otherwise unknowable information, accessing additional truth, a superior Revelation. Did God actually hide INFORMATION (in word patterns and incidences) and the Strong's numbers technically bring it out? Aren't we right back where we started from -- and while faulting the charismatics for having Technical Revelation?
Listen DownloadMark:8:23: And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought. Mark:8:24: And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking. Mark:8:25: After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly. Could this be the two-olive trees spoken of in Zechariah: 4...that the blind man saw? Zech:4:11: Then answered I, and said unto him, What [are] these two olive trees upon the right [side] of the candlestick and upon the left [side] thereof? Zech:4:12: And I answered again, and said unto him, What [be these] two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden [oil] out of themselves? Zech:4:13: And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these [be]? And I said, No, my lord. Zech:4:14: Then said he, These [are] the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.

Listen DownloadGreetings EBiblefellowship,
I really enjoy listening to your open forum. I was wondering if you could answer a question I have. I know you take questions from Paltalk but I am unable to listen live, but I listen when you post the audio programs on your website.
This is my question. The Bibles says we are to compare spiritual with spiritual. My question is could you please explain to me how this is done. For example, I would like to study the word drive as used in Ex 6:1 and Num 33:52. It seems that in Ex God does the driving out and in Num God tells Israel to drive them out. I would like to do a word study on this but I really don't know how to do a word study. So far I've looked up the word in the concordance and typed out every single verse where it is used. Then I looked up each of these and got the words that were similar to the word and came up with another list. Now I am so totally confused I forget which word I'm looking up!!! Can you please tell me step by step how to do word studies. There are so many studies I want to do. I catch pieces and tidbits from each of you and Brother Camping about how you do your studies but I haven't yet gotten the whole picture.
God really burdened my heart with 1Corin 2:13 after hearing one of your Sunday School teachings. How correct you are in that all christians should be doing this. I do want to and have been trying but am getting very confused. I also hear you refer to the interlinears, which I have but can't figure out how to use them.
This question maybe to lengthy to answer during your Open Forum. I certainly understand. I thank our heavenly Father for each of your teachings. Your teachings have been a blessing.
Listen DownloadI belive it is Gods will for every born-again believer to be a member of a sound bible-believing,New Testament Church 1 Cor 12:18 the head of the church is Jesus Christ Colossians 1:18. 1 Cor 10:32 Acts 20:28 please respond.
Listen DownloadI know many churches have corrupted the gospel and mixed man's teaching with God's but I am not sure it is all churches. I have read some of your material and heard some of the teaching from Family Radio about the end of the church. I am praying and searching for the truth on this issue. If we do come out how are we to worship? I see on your web site you have "Sunday School" and "Sermons" just like normal churches. Does that make you the same as a church only with the name fellowship replacing church? How have you "come out" if you do everything the same just under a different name? Praying God leads us to truth on these issues.
Listen DownloadPlease I want you to help me exlain this to me,I want you to send it my e-mail box for me.When did JesusChrist become the son of God? Because Bible said Christ is with father before creation then when?
Listen DownloadDear Mr. McCann, My question is: Do you believe that anyone who has decided to remain joined to the local church is not saved? Another way to ask it I suppose, is do you think anyone who disagree's with the depart out doctrine is not saved?
Listen Downloadmy brother in christ, i had the pleasure of visiting your room tonight and i was sadden by some of your words concerning church's and your brothers and sisters in christ or out.so- i think you will understand why reading this part of job (Chapter 34) will not only put you back on track to just-remember -just- preach and teach to make things better and not knock what is wrong , but stand up to the person or church you have problems or issue's with and make a difference there. to point fingers and not reach if you are in the spirit, and i will never question that, is being very selfcenter and selfish like god explains in this chapter. god didn't give us earflapps, because he wanted us to use the self will that he graced us with by deciding what is good to taks in and hold and what is not. the tongue as you will read is for tasting foods and i feel also the truth from the bible so we can help bring the loss to jesus and not condem them . your new friend always = ...-ps= please never say again that god wrote the bible to cause confusion.
Listen DownloadDear Chris: I am listed on the "Fellowship Locator" that is one of your links. I was blessed to find your website via a friend here on the West coast and I read with interest your "Letter to Friends" regarding the "depart out" teachings. I left the corporate church a little over a year ago, by the Lord's leading through His word. I was particularly interested in what you said about Daniel in relation to Jeremiah and Daniel's confession that "we" have sinned. How true that is, but God has been merciful in calling us out in salvation and in obedience. My father was visiting from ND last week (he is also a believer), and he and I were discussing the biblical term "without the camp" and how that seems to have an application to the end of the church age. I saw that you referenced it at the end of your Letter to Friends. If you have time and the Lord so leads you, would you mind expounding on Hebrews 13:13 (and other references), as it might apply to today? Thank you, Chris, and I praise God that he has led you to develop a strong, online ministry that encourages the saints and witnesses to the world. In Christ, "For the mountains will I take up a weeping and wailing, and for the habitations of the wilderness a lamentation, because they are burned up, so that none can pass through; neither can men hear the voice of the cattle; both the fowl of the heavens and the beast are fled; they are gone." Jer.9:10
Listen DownloadHello Mr. Camping. My name is ... who has Cerebral Palsy and I can not speak by my voice and so I am sending you an e-mail with my questions. I really love listening to you on KFTL on TV in Stockton Ca. Question: We know God is in one person but Why do we have so many different believes and churchmen's believes? Thank you.
Listen DownloadMy question is this: I am going through a terrible time in my life. I am married to a man who is a reovering alcoholic. He is also divorced. I was never married and I have one son. This all happened because we did not understand that we were sinners. I have been married to this man for 4-5 years now and have been listening to Family Radio for the last 2-3 yrs. I thank God for Harold Camping and Family Radio. I have learned so much about the word of God and about the importance of the marriage covenent. My husband has a daughter aged 14yrs (she lives with her mother) and I have a son aged 23yrs who lives with us. My husband is an avid church goer and good christian husband but does not beleive in Harold Camping and his teachings and thinks it is all nonsense and refuses to leave the church. Everytime I witness to him, we argue. We are now in the process of relocating to Pennsylvania and I fear the worst. Another couple who also goes to the same church with my husband has also built their home a few doors from where we will be living. This is all nice, however, I feel alone, afraid, isolated. I have just been told by my employer that I have 60 days to find a new job. What is going on here. I thought that I was doing the right thing by obeying the Lord in the best way I can after living a sinful life. Now I feel like crying because I feel as if my witnessing to co-workers that I thought were christian may be part of the reason I am being laid off. I am a little nervous now, but my faith in God is in tact. That will never change. I just need to know what I can do in this situation or have I made a mistake. I am not that knowledgable in all of the Scriptures myself. I am not perfect at all.
Listen DownloadIf we depart out, what is then our purpose to our Christian lives? What Gospel do we preach? Thank you, I am confused.
Listen DownloadThe "depart out teaching" now teaches the necessity of "departing out" of "external, visible, corporate churches", which is a work, as a precondition for salvation.
Listen DownloadI have a moderately nuerologically impaired nephew whom I grew up beside his entire life. He also suffers from mild paranoia. When he was three years old his father was killed in an accident. Due to his illness he has nobody outside the family in his life. I am basically dad, brother, uncle, best friend etc. to my nephew. "Material" happiness is all he has. I have found God only a year ago so am still myself struggling with my walk. He asks me to do things or go to places and events with him that I know I should no longer be doing or going to. I try to explain to him about God and the Bible but he simply doesn't comprehend my situation. He is sliding into deeper despondency as he ages. I feel terrible for him. I prayed that he might be saved even if it means my not. I don't want to turn away from him but I don't know what to do. Can you provide some Scriptual guidance?
Listen DownloadSuppose that I as a believer am truly convinced that we are now in the final tribulation, but I am not able to convince my wife and other close friends whom I think are truly saved? Should I alone leave the church and simply pray for them and continue to witness to them?
Listen DownloadSome questions for you. 1. I know you disbanded your church and left as being pastor. Did you really think that your congregation of probably mostly true believers was really considered Babalyon? 2. What were the high places in your church? 3. Are you and everyone who has departed out of a church really going to HONESTLY say that you have never been blessed by the Holy Spirit by the word preached in a church at any time since 1994??? No one has ever been blessed by your preaching at your church? No one has taken the word preached and applied it that week by the grace of God? Please don't answer by saying that we can never really know what is going on in someones heart. How about your own heart. You have never been blessed by one message preached in a church since 1994?? 4. Has the rhetorical question of Psalm 139:7 finally been answered?
Listen DownloadI have a very serious question, which causes my heart to grieve deeply. What does a believing Mother with children do, when her husband is not a believer and insists she and the children attend an apostate church? I want to run and not hear the false teachings. I have no part in the worship knowing God has given the churches over to satan.I fear for my husband, our children. I am to obey my husband, I am to obey God, what is a woman who is to learn in silence and not usurp authority over her husband to do when in this situation.I have brought up certain things to my husband without teaching him, and it angers him. I do not want to do the wrong thing, I only want to be faithful to God and His Word, by His Grace.Psalm 102:1: Hear my prayer, O LORD, and let my cry come unto thee." You response is greatly appreciated.
Listen DownloadWill this doctrine (End of the Church Age) become increasingly more acceptable and popular or will there remain just a trickle of believers which have spiritual eyes and ears to depart out?
Listen Download (after 25 seconds sound gets louder)My position on the DOT is that it is not of God. If you take offense to this then I guess you are use to it by now. But I must ask as I have never found an anwswer. Did the Apostle Paul ever teach this as it is now taught by Mr.Camping? If you say yes, then prove it from the Scriptures. If you say no, then you are violating God's Word in Galatians 1:6-9 If you say yes and no, then you are saying that Paul did not know the whole Gospel as he claimed to have known it, especially from his perspective as having received it directly from Christ Himself. I will give your response an honest read but of course as you will not change your mind on this teaching do not expect to change mine. I pray God will either open your eyes to Truth or continue to raise His Voice thru His people in order to silence this teaching of a complete dead church.
Listen DownloadRev 18:4 means only the true believers by the grace of God will come out. Now if there is a true church of God and a corporate church of God and the true church actually departs then according to 1 Cor 11:24-26 they are the only ones who still should be taking communion as is stated in 1 Cor 11:26 ye do shew the lord's death till he comes. The corporate church will continue to take it because they feel they are doing the lord's will but according to 1 Cor 11:29 they are the ones that eateth and drinketh unworthily. Please comment.

Click for AnswerI get so wrapped up in my findings and have a tendency to think everyone’s of the same mind, however I have discovered that most (practically all) of the good Christian folk that I speak with have NO IDEA or are aware that we are to leave the Church. They smile and shrug their shoulders and I can see them wondering if I’m not some kind of crackpot? So when I delve into the topic and wish to find understanding and camaraderie, because that’s all I’m really interested in, I find doubt, stony faces and mistrust. It’s really quite frustrating! Because I’m a no-body in THEIR eyes, my inquiries are lost on them. They are not interested and when I supply verses to consider they without looking say my findings and the findings of others must be out of context and therefore must be off? I’m surprised and somewhat confused here? The signs are obvious and clear, at least to me, surly there should be more aware then what I’m seeing out there? I mean Satan is loosed, that means that the testimonies of the two witnesses is finished, the elect are to come out. So why aren’t they? Is there only one in ten thousand or a million? When I read scripture that says they (the saved) are many I have to wonder? I’m aware that they (the church) are under strong delusion and are deceiving and being deceived, yet one would think there would be more?
Click for AnswerMy question is this: when should one "give up" trying to get people in the churches to care? I was so worried about my ex-boyfriend that I tried very, very hard to get him to care about the issues, and he did not seem to. Daniel 12:9-10 says that the wicked will not understand, but the wise will; I believe this means that those who are truly saved will understand, and those who aren't will not. I tried desperately to get him to care, because I feared that he was not truly saved. He got angry with me, told me I was evil and ordered me to stay away from him. He blocked my e-mail address and said that if I went to his house again he would not tell me to leave, instead he would remove me physically or call the police and get them to do it. I found I Corinthians 6:1-8 that day, and showed it to him. He said, "I Corinthians 6:1-8 doesn't apply, it's about Christians." I told him he was being unChristlike, and immediately he said "You tell me to stop going to church in one breath and I'm being unChristlike in the next. I can't believe I ever thought you were a good Christian influence." He also told me he didn't care about me. Then I told him he was proving Revelation 18:3 (I think, the one about Babylon becoming the cage of every hateful bird), because he was being very hateful with his actions. I haven't been able to stop crying all week and sometimes I feel like I want to die. I told him that his implying that I was not a Christian did not bother me because it would only bother someone who had truly made their 'salvation' a matter of pride; before he was complaining that I was trying to make him feel unsaved. He said that I bought into works gospels when he knew full well that I believe Christ's faith saves, and not even my own... I am absolutely terrified for his soul and am not eating properly because of it. I guess I am looking for some encouragement.

Unfortunately, his message is full of statements that are not completely biblical; and he tends to build upon these statements as he goes along. So, in order to make sure all of his statements are answered and also to make sure none of his erroneous statements are left without comment-----I broke up his note below by interjecting corrections to his statements.

HOWEVER, the CONTEXT is always one of apostasy. If you say that a faithful church (however rare) is included among God's judgement, then you are taking what the bible teaches out of context and effectly adding to the Word. Since when does God punish the faithful? Where in the bible does God suggest his called servants of the ministry who have remained faithful to their calling should now abandon their calling in the word of man?
Click for Answer"Since Jesus very clearly promised His disciples that the Second Coming would be in that first century generation, how can any faithful Bible teacher maintain that the Second Coming is future to us today?" Hi Chris, I just thought I would mention that the wording for the answer to this question above on your site sounds kind of...well, "mean." It kind of gives the impression like "You fool! How could you believe that?" Look how it starts out... "Your idea...is entirely wrong. You have absolutely no Scriptural support...The Bible is extremely clear!" I believe something direct and simple could be used to replace it. "The idea that Matt. 24 was fullfilled in 70 A.D. is incorrect. The Bible shows that Matt. 24 is dealing with the great tribulation and the 'end of the world.'"
Click for AnswerSince Jesus very clearly promised His disciples that the Second Coming would be in that first century generation, how can any faithful Bible teacher maintain that the Second Coming is future to us today? It was fulfilled in AD 70 in connection with the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple (Matt. 24, Mark 13, Luke 21), ending the Old Covenant and bringing in the New Covenant in its fullness. The New Testament is replete with verses promising these "end time" events would happen very soon, not after a gap of 2000 years! Matt.16:27-28 "For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works, Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom." This can not refer to the Transfiguration as there were no angels present and there was no judgment. Also, all of the disciples were still alive six days later, not just some of them as the text requires. Should not faithful Bible teachers honor the words and promises of the Lord Jesus instead of following the traditions of fallible men?
Click for AnswerHow can we tell that Rev 18 is speaking of the time of the final tribulation and believers leaving the church ("come out of her....") and not speaking of gathering of believers out of the world on the last day before final judgement? And how can we tell that God is using Babylon to typify the corporate church and not the world? Could you please clarify that for me when you get a chance.
Click for AnswerMatthew 24:28 "For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together." I can see the literal meaning especially with the preceding verses, of our Lord's arrival. However, is there a deeper spiritual meaning, could the carcase be the corporate church of today, and if so, what do the eagles represent? Is there also a connection with Leviticus 26:30 "And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your images, and cast your carcases upon the carcases of your idols, and my soul shall abhor you."?
Click for AnswerIf a person is a true born again believer and they are not totally convicted to leave their church yet, couldn't their children become saved at home as they are teaching them and witnessing to them privately even though they cannot become saved through the church?
Click for AnswerMy husband and I along with our children are still attending church. Our daughters have found their fiances in this church and like Lot's sons-in-law, they do not believe it's the end of the church era. Our daughters are not totally convinced yet either. My husband and I are still listening and searching it out and beginning to see that this teaching may be correct. Our problem is our daughters are in the process of planning weddings with the pastor, etc... which also involves us as well. Is it wrong to stay in the church until they are married (about a years' time)? How do we plan for our girls weddings if we step out of the church with the remainder of our family but our daughters remain? It seems like an awfully awkward situation if we leave the church before they are married.
Click for AnswerIn Amos chapter 3 and verse 7, God promises, Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. On the other hand, we have the command to depart out of the corporate church being revealed at least seven years after the church died. However, this doesn’t explain how it is that God would allow us to disobey Him for many years, and how it is that He failed in His promise to reveal His secrets to His servants so that other promises, such as being a God to you and your children, might be fulfilled, as well. Can you help to reconcile all this?
