Q. Mark:8:23: And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought. Mark:8:24: And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking. Mark:8:25: After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly. Could this be…the two-olive tree’s…spoken of in Zechariah: 4...that the blind man saw? Zech:4:11: Then answered I, and said unto him, What [are] these two olive trees upon the right [side] of the candlestick and upon the left [side] thereof? Zech:4:12: And I answered again, and said unto him, What [be these] two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden [oil] out of themselves? Zech:4:13: And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these [be]? And I said, No, my lord. Zech:4:14: Then said he, These [are] the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.

Sorry for the delay in answering your note below (over a year is a big
delay) but I really didn't understand the verses you mention below until
recently. The historical parable of the blind man below healed in two
parts is related to God's salvation process. He heals His people in two
parts. First we receive a new soul, and as we live our lives in this
world it can be said that we see in a glass darkly (1 Cor 13). There is
still a great deal of information that we do not know.
However, after Christ puts His hands to us a 2nd time and gives us our
new resurrected bodies on the last day, then we see every man clearly.
We will see Him face to face. Our eye sight at that point is perfected.
Anyway, once again, I apologize for the delay. Take care and may the
Lord richly bless you,
Chris McCann
