Q. Why is the Bible silent about masturbatiuon? Is masturbation sin? Is it self abuse? I have put this question in many reformed sites and nobody answer please do answer.

Masturbation is a physical act that in itself is not sinful; however, the problem is that normally has people engage in this act they are picturing sexual fornication in their minds. And Jesus did tell us that whoever looks on a woman to lust has committed adultery with her in his heart. Therefore, if we are honest we have to admit that masturbation goes along with the sin of adultery (according to Christ's definition) and therefore it is sin.
